Such solidarity was long over due. The stumbling block to such effective collective actions at home and abroad has been and still remains to large extent the refusal of the so-called Ethiopian Amhara dominated groups to openly recognize the right of oppressed nations to self determination. TPLF is at least theoretically ahead of them in this field. That is mostly why many of its belly loving slaves- hodaamoch- to use the apt Amharic word, come from oppressed nationalities. But let us be serious: we all know, even if we fail to act accordingly, that the bottom line with TPLF is not its propaganda but its military muscle and the support of those international circles which firmly stand behind it even while paying lip-service to democracy elsewhere.

This is no riddle to those who really know the true history of the Ethiopian Empire. As long as we refuse to learn from history we must indefinitely remain in vicious circles, no matter how well intentioned we may be. TPLF will go on killing, jailing, torturing defenceless students and others till the outstanding political, organizational and leadership questions among the genuine opposition forces are properly addressed. For this to happen a radical new positive vision is needed.

Only what is happening in Libya is immensely disheartening to the woyane: the possibility of a peaceful protest at home being transformed to an armed struggle, no matter what the differences between the two countries. Woyane respects and knows only the language of violence. Of all the forces opposed right now to its power, the TPLF respects most only the Somalis because they can stand to its military muscle. No matter how Sheik Sherif , the opportunist warlords, the self-seeking intellectuals and the hired clerics of Ahlussuna type serve woyane’s strategy, the great majority of the Somali people in Ogaden, even in Puntland and the so-called Somali Land, controlled by puppets, will never surrender to woyane militarism. It is not just part of the Somali history to bend down, like most Ethiopians, to crude humiliation indefinitely, even from their own ruling classes.. Most Abyssinian elites, especially the Amhara, epitomize Ethiopia because it served well their ethnic supremacy. The rest of us mostly need only to overcome the demons of deep demoralization.

I did follow the demonstration in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Gadaa.com videos. The speakers of the different groups were really passionate and full of fire, as it should be, except those of the OLF: well fed, well dressed, well shaved uncommunicative, individuals, as if some imaginary stuff were sticking in their throats, cool, even icy, talking only briefly to their own audience in Oromifa, typical OLF functionaries. Most of us are incapable of expressing genuine anger openly even in safe democratic atmosphere.. How much attention do we pay to psychology?. How many of us have read Fanon? Is it the century old tradition of passivity and fear that blocks us and hinders us from shouting out our rage , or just simple lack of commitment or opportunism, which may be the same in the final analysis? Perhaps, we deserve such awkward, chicken hearted leaders. I have come to believe that mostly nothing undeserved really happens to us. That is probably why, no matter what we pretend to be, we easily slide into our bad habits. Most of us have become spongy absorbing pain and humiliation without necessary action . Often our response does not go beyond empty words. Many of you, I know, will agree with me in what I say but dare not respond for fear of any genuine commitment, no matter how small. Mind you I do not mean those of you who are bribed by the woyane in any form. .

The Diaspora, protesting against the Woyane disinformation delegation in the USA cities this month, has attracted almost all the opposition groups in

[4
